Details

The Series CFS2 Cable Float Switch is a mechanically actuated floating switch designed to activate electrical components, such as pumps, for automatic start and stop functions. Ideal for simple level control of liquids, it is perfect for filling or draining reservoirs and tanks. Known for its high reliability, economical pricing, and easy installation, this float switch is widely used for pump automation.

  • Easy installation with counterweights and cable hangers to suit various mounting applications.

Available with various cable options, including those with UL/CSA approval, higher chemical compatibility, high-temperature durability, oil resistance, and suitability for drinking water. Counterweights and cable hangers are also available to accommodate different mounting applications. Optional features include a piggyback plug, gold contact switch, and cable lengths ranging from 10 to 70 feet.

Applications include water level monitoring, tank level control, high or low-level alarms, municipal and industrial water control, and pump automation.

CONNECTING TO GRUNDFOS PUMPS TO PREVENT DRY RUN OPERATION

  • VIEW FILE UNDER THE DOCUMENTS TAB ABOVE
  • Land the float switch wires to Terminal 1 and Terminal 9
  • Terminal 1 is DI2 (Digital Input 2)
  • Terminal 9 is the ground
  • DI1 is used for the run jumper, so use DI2 or DI3
  • Installer needs to "Make Active" on the MLE motor either DI2 or DI3
