There is no shortage of products manufactured for commercial crop production. From fertilizers to pesticides, irrigation to sanitation: for every aspect of your farm there are a plethora of brands and products seeking your attention.

But who is evaluating all these products to ensure efficacy? Defining product specifications? Determining how and when trials should be conducted? It’s not sufficient to rely on marketing brochures and sales reps when deciding where to deploy capital.

And then there are the tough questions we need to ask ourselves: “Why am I selecting this brand of horticultural oil?” “Is this the best flow rate at which to irrigate my plants?” “How should I properly trial a new fertilizer additive?” “What volume of growing media do my plants need at each stage of growth?”

While other firms chase marketing, margins, and ease of sale, MORR vets the market, considers all available data including return on investment (ROI) with aggressive pricing.

Sometimes our options will set the market for price point, other times they will come at a premium because of the extra value added. We may offer one solution that is the only choice we perceive as practical, or suggest a high-end, a medium range, and a low-end choice for differing budgets and operating conditions. What we do not offer is garbage, low-quality imports, or marketing tricks that claim to turn coal into gold and water into wine.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI)

Initial cost, duration of use, efficacy, associated costs, labor savings, resource demand, ease of use, craftsmanship, and innovation are a small fraction of the long list requirements companies and products must meet or exceed to become our trusted partners. We will not recommend a product that we have not vetted extensively. If we are trialing something, you will be made well-aware prior to the sale. If we have two solid options, they will both be recommended for review with the pros and cons of each explained clearly.

Aside from vetting and trialing products to ensure only the best in category are recommended, MORR ensures the information needed to make crucial decisions is available to our customers when they need it. LED lights, fans, fertilizers, and different brands of irrigation components often look alike; it’s important that companies and industry experts are available to answer questions you may have and come onsite whenever possible for personal conversations regarding your specific crops, soil, environment, and growing techniques.  Not every choice is equally good for every farm, and we are here to help figure out what works for yours.

MEETINGS WITH MORR

Whenever possible we enjoy coming onsite to meet our customer and learn more about your needs. Our goal is simple: to determine where the most value can be added. Is fertilizer incompatibility clogging drip emitters? Do you have standard operating procedures for disease mitigation and sanitation in place? Maybe additional acres are being developed for cultivation and we should discuss ways to improve yields and quality.

During these first meetings, we look to understand your unique approach to commercial crop production. We request lists of the products being bought and take lots of notes. We look for solutions to problems and ways to save, both through efficiency gains such as automation and improving the cost/benefit ratio. Even if no changes are to be made, by simply allowing us to re-quote the products you currently buy you could see massive savings. This is real money we can put into your pocket or help you deploy for growth and expansion.

After meeting, we will send a summary of what we saw and discussed along with a quote for what you are already purchasing, along with suggestions, product recommendations, and ways to improve efficiency.

MANUFACTURER TRIALS ARE KEY

If trials are needed, we can help set them up. if questions arise that require further research, we can help in getting answers.
