PVC Schedule 80 Toe Nipples are cut and threaded sticks of pipe that come in various sizes. One end is standard pipe also known as spigot. The other side is Male Pipe Thread (MPT).
Toe Nipples serve many purposes and applications ranging from connecting pumps, dosing systems, drip irrigation, and other similar applications.
Sometimes fittings, which are made in molds, can be slightly the wrong size for various pieces of equipment and lead to leaks. Pipe Nipples and Toe Nipples can be made from engineered PVC pipe and often fit much tighter. Therefore, specifically on pumps and other products that transition from metal to PVC it is common to find PVC Toe Nipples.
