Product Overview

Humic DG™ is a carbon-based, organic soil enhancer, highly concentrated with 70% fulvic acid, humic acid, and humin. It utilizes The Andersons’ patented Dispersible Granule (DG) technology. When in contact with water, each Humic DG™ granule disperses into thousands of micro particles that directly enter the root zone, providing immediate benefits to the soil and plant.

Humic DG™ is versatile, benefiting all soil types and reducing watering requirements. In sandy soils, it enhances water retention and minimizes evaporation. For clay and other compact soils, it facilitates deeper water and root penetration.

Application Guidelines

Humic DG™ is suitable for all soil and turf types at any growth stage. It can also be used in gardens and flower beds. For optimal results, mow before application and water thoroughly afterwards. Avoid applying Humic DG™ before heavy rainfall to prevent particle washout.

Usage Recommendations

• Turf: Apply 1-2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. anytime during the growing season.
• Gardens and Flower Beds: Apply 1-2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. anytime during the growing season.
• Trees and Shrubs: Apply 2-8 oz. around the base of each tree or shrub. Larger trees and shrubs should use the higher rate.
• Potting Soils: Mix in 2-10 lbs. per cubic yard of potting mix.

Please note that spreader settings were established using standard industry equipment. Variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. While these settings serve as a guide, unit calibration should still be performed to ensure proper application rates. The Andersons recommends the use of a broadcast spreader for its products.
