Evolve™ soft bait interferes with the reproductive mechanisms in both male and female rats. Adding it to your Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program targets the source of an infestation for long-term success. As a FIFRA Section 25(b) exempt minimum risk pesticide, it poses little or no risk to people, pets, and predators.

How does Evolve work?

The active ingredient in Evolve is Cottonseed Oil, which interferes with the reproductive mechanisms in both male and female rats. This targets the infestation at its source.

Where can Evolve be used?

Evolve can be used anywhere rats like to go. Place 2 to 12 pieces per location. Replace as needed.

How fast does Evolve work?

It takes 1 to 2 breeding cycles (about 4 to 6 weeks) for Evolve to impact a rat population. Fewer pregnant rats means fewer, pups, keeping rat populations from rebounding.

Is Evolve a risk to people and pets?

As a FIFRA Section 25(b) exempt "minimum risk pesticide", Evolve poses little or no risk to human health or the environment. This includes non-target species, including predatory birds. Bigger mammals, including pets, would need to ingest large amounts of Evolve over an extended period of time to have any effect.

Restricted Entry Interval (REI) & Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
Evolve Soft Bait is not regulated at the federal level as a pesticide per Federal Insecticide,
Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Section 25(b) minimum risk exemption, and
thus does not contain any labeling claims referring to the Worker Protection Standard
(WPS) and/or Agricultural Use Requirements. For pesticides regulated at the federal
level per FIFRA Section 3, the WPS statement and Agricultural Use Requirements section
typically contain information regarding the Restricted Entry Interval (REI) and Pre-
Harvest Interval (PHI) on the label. Since Evolve is not regulated under FIFRA and not
subject to WPS or Agricultural Use Requirements, no REI is required.
PHI ties back into residue chemistry data whereby active ingredient concentration is
measured to decline to acceptable levels during that hold-over time between pesticide
application and crop harvest. Since Evolve is formulated with acceptable food-use
active and inert ingredients that are exempt from the requirement of tolerance, no PHI
is required.
