Details
Primerus polyethylene tubing and dripline are constructed from a stabilized resin compound. The formula incorporates high-load carbon black for ultraviolet light resistance and antioxidants to prevent chemical breakdown. This material specification ensures long-term flexibility and durability in exposed irrigation applications.
Standard polyethylene supply tubing is available in two diameters. The 0.125-inch (1/8") OD tubing is designed for connecting individual emitters. The 0.170-inch (3/16") OD tubing serves as general-purpose micro-irrigation distribution line. Both diameters are sold in 100-foot and 1000-foot rolls.
Pre-cut lengths of the 1/8" tubing are manufactured for installation efficiency. Standard lengths of 24, 36, and 48 inches are available with either 90-degree cuts on both ends or a combination of 90-degree and 45-degree ends. The 45-degree cut provides a tapered point for insertion. These lengths are packaged in boxes of 1000.
The product range includes dedicated irrigation lines. The perforated tubing is engineered for high-flow pot and container irrigation. The pressure-compensating dripline features integrated emitters at 6-inch spacing with a 0.5 GPH flow rate per emitter.
A corresponding hole punch tool for polyethylene hose is offered separately to create clean ports for tubing or emitter barb insertion.
