MGK EverGreen Pyrethrum Concentrate - 1 Gallon

EverGreen Pyrethrum Concentrate is a fast-acting natural insecticide derived from chrysanthemum flowers, formulated as a concentrate for organic and conventional pest control in commercial, residential, agricultural, and animal premise settings.

Chemical Composition and Formulation
The active ingredient is Pyrethrum, derived from Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium, at a concentration of 5%. The formulation is a concentrate and is OMRI Listed for use in organic production.

Functional Mechanism and Design
Pyrethrum acts as a contact insecticide, rapidly disrupting the nervous system of target pests upon exposure, leading to quick knockdown and kill. The active compounds degrade quickly in sunlight.

Target Applications and Performance
This product is labeled for use in food and non-food areas of food handling, processing, and storage areas, animal premises including barns, dairies and poultry houses, grain bins, and for indoor and outdoor perimeter treatments. It is effective for the knockdown and control of more than 140 pests, including cockroaches, stored product pests, flies, mosquitoes, spiders, ants, and fleas.

Application Specifications and Protocol
The product is applied as a diluted spray. It is intended for use as a crack and crevice, spot, general surface, or space spray in indoor areas, and as a perimeter or barrier treatment outdoors. The concentrate must be diluted with water according to label instructions for the specific target site and pest. Applications can be made using standard hand-held, back-pack, or power sprayer equipment.

Handling and Safety
As a concentrate, the product must be mixed and handled according to label directions. Personal protective equipment including long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves is required during handling, mixing, loading, and application. The product has a 12-hour restricted entry interval (REI) for greenhouse uses. Users must read and follow all label directions.
