APPLICATIONS

PeraShield 15% is an EPA-registered microbiocide develope for agricultural systems. It contains 15% active peracetic acid, and has a high oxidation potential and is very reactive. It demonstrates excellent bactericidal and fungicidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms. PeraShield 15% is stable for a minimum of 1 year under normal conditions.

PROPERTIES

PeraShield 15% is an excellent choice for agricultural or horticultural applications such as irrigation or drip water systems and greenhouses to control slime and algae. This product can be used to treat sand filters, humidifiers, storage tanks, ponds, reservoirs, canals, and greenhouses. It can be used in soil and foliar applications to prevent/control bacterial and fungal diseases present in soil or on growing agricultural crops.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

PeraShield 15% is an equilibrium mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, proprietary ingredients, and water. It eventually degrades into non-hazardous byproducts such as oxygen, water, and acetic acid.

APPEARANCE

Clear, colorless liquid.  Pungent vinegar-like odor.

STORAGE

PeraShield 15% container must be stored in an upright position. The storage area should be well ventilated and shaded from sunlight as well as protected from sources of radiant heat. Contamination of the product, especially heavy metal ions and alkali, must be avoided.

SHELF LIFE

At least 1 year without notable losses of active oxygen if stored properly.
