Gripple GPAK Wire End Assemblies are pre-engineered bracing kits designed for fast, consistent, and professional installation of fencing and trellis system anchor points. Each assembly combines a pre-cut length of corrosion-resistant steel cable with a mechanically fused termination—either a 6-inch or 36-inch loop, or an end stop ferrule. The system eliminates traditional field work like measuring, cutting, and manually twisting wire, enabling installations to be completed in under one minute. GPAK assemblies can be tensioned and easily re-tensioned year after year using Gripple tensioning tools, ensuring long-term structural integrity.

GPAK Wire End Assemblies are systematically designated by a model number corresponding to cable diameter and working load capacity. Each model is available in multiple termination styles and cable lengths to fit diverse agricultural bracing requirements.

Termination Types and Length Options
Three primary termination styles define the specific function of each assembly within an anchoring system:

• 6-Inch Loop: Provides a compact, tight loop for direct connection to anchor eyes, brackets, or Gripple joiners. This style is standard across all GPAK models for direct, low-profile attachment.

• 36-Inch Loop: Supplies an extended, 3-foot loop offering greater flexibility. This loop can be used to create a "deadman" anchor by looping around a buried object or to facilitate easier connection in complex anchoring arrangements.

• End Stop: Terminates the cable with a solid, swaged ferrule. This style is designed to be fed through an anchor point and then secured on the opposite end with a standard Gripple joiner (such as a GP Medium or GP Large), allowing for precise tension adjustment at the anchor.

Cable lengths range from 5 feet for short runs to 35 feet for spanning longer distances, accommodating various post spacings and anchor placements.

GPAK Wire End Assemblies provide critical structural support in permanent horticultural installations. They are the standard solution for bracing terminal, end, and corner posts in vineyard, berry, orchard, and high-tensile fencing applications. The assemblies are compatible with both wood and metal posts and are designed for use with earth anchor systems, such as the Gripple Badger ground anchor, to create a complete, tensioned anchor assembly. The use of zinc-aluminium (Zal) coated or galvanized cable ensures maximum corrosion resistance for long-term durability in outdoor environments.

Installation and Tensioning
Installation requires no specialized tools beyond a Gripple tensioning tool. The pre-formed loop or end stop is connected to the anchor point. The free cable end is then fed through a Gripple joiner attached to the post. Using a Torq Tensioning Tool or Contractor Tool, the cable is pulled through the joiner to the desired tension, automatically locking in place. This process allows for quick installation and provides the capability for future re-tensioning to maintain system integrity as cables settle or stretch.
