SedgeHammer is a selective post-emergent herbicide designed to control yellow and purple nutsedge in turfgrass and landscaped areas, including sites with established woody ornamentals.

Key Features:

Mode of Action:

• Absorbed through foliage and translocated to underground tubers

• Inhibits amino acid production, leading to plant death within 2-4 weeks

• Most effective on young, actively growing nutsedge (within 6 weeks of emergence)

Application Guidelines:

• Apply when nutsedge is actively growing (spring through summer)

• Rainfast within 4 hours after application

• Multiple applications may be required for complete control

• Not for use in vegetable gardens or annual flower beds

Usage Precautions:

• Wait 2 weeks before overseeding treated areas

• Avoid mowing 2 days before and after application

• Keep people and pets off treated areas until spray has dried

• Store unopened product in cool, dry place for extended shelf life
