Gowan Captiva Prime Insect Repellent/Insecticide

Captiva® Prime is an insecticide formulated from high-quality, concentrated plant extracts designed to enhance pest control by driving pests out of hiding, increasing insecticide exposure, and improving the efficacy of tank mix solutions. It is effective against thrips and mites and is approved for organic agriculture by the National Organic Program (NOP) and the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

Key Features:

• Agitates thrips and mites, forcing them out of sheltered environments.

• Enhances the performance of traditional insecticides and miticides when used as a tank mix partner.

• Can be used as a stand-alone product to repel thrips and mites, stop feeding, and inhibit egg-laying.

• Suitable for use in all food and non-food crops (refer to label for specific usage).

• Four-hour reentry interval (REI) and zero-day preharvest interval (PHI).

Applications:
Captiva® Prime is labeled for a wide range of crops, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, and ornamental plants. It is compatible with most conventional and biological insecticides, miticides, and fertilizers.

Safety & Compatibility:

• Safe for use on flowers and bracts.

• Compatible with Biological Control Agents (BCAs) such as beneficial insects and mites.

• Minimal risk of phytotoxicity when used as directed.

Usage Recommendations:

• Tank Mix Rate: 8 oz per 100 gallons.

• Stand-Alone Rate: 16 oz per 100 gallons.

• Weekly applications recommended for optimal repellency and pest control.
