Gard’nClean GC Liquid is a highly effective, easy-to-use chlorine dioxide solution designed for a wide range of disinfection and sanitization applications. Available in multiple sizes (GC-2, GC-12.5, and GC-30), this product generates chlorine dioxide gas in water, providing a pure, neutral pH solution that is ideal for various industries and uses.

How It Works:
When immersed in water, the proprietary membrane within the product initiates a chemical reaction between precursor chemicals, releasing 1 gram of chlorine dioxide. The resulting concentration is volume-dependent, allowing for flexible application:

• GC-2: Generates 500 ppm in 2 liters of water or 100 ppm in 10 liters.

• GC-12.5: Generates 500 ppm in 2.5 gallons of water or 100 ppm in 12.5 gallons.

• GC-30: Generates 500 ppm in 6 gallons of water or 100 ppm in 30 gallons.

The membrane ensures that precursor chemicals and by-products remain contained, while chlorine dioxide is released into the water, creating a clean and effective solution.

Shelf Life & Storage:

• 18 months from production when stored in a cool, dry place below 122°F (50°C).

• Activate prior to the expiration date on the package.

• Keep activated product out of direct sunlight (UV light).

Directions for Use:

1. Open the package and immerse the envelope in the specified volume of water.

2. Seal the container tightly and wait at least 2 hours for the solution to reach full strength.

3. Remove the envelope after 24 hours and discard it according to instructions.

4. Verify concentration using Gard’nClean® Test Strips (Wide Range for >10 ppm, Low Range for ≤10 ppm).

5. Apply the solution as needed for disinfection, sanitization, or water treatment.

Standard Usage Rates:

• Disinfection & Deodorization: 100 ppm

• Non-Food Contact Surfaces: 20 ppm

• Food Contact Surfaces: 5 ppm

• Water Treatment (Continuous Dose): 0.1–0.8 ppm

Safety & PPE:

• Wear gloves and eye protection when handling the activated solution.

• Use a NIOSH/MSHA-approved respirator for chlorine dioxide when working with high concentrations, high-pressure sprayers, or in poorly ventilated areas.

• Sodium Chlorite: 30.5%

• Other Ingredients: 69.5%

• Generates aqueous chlorine dioxide.
