Fulvic LQ - 4% Fulvic Acid Solution - 55 Gallons (4/Plt)
About this product
Fulvic LQ is a liquid biostimulant containing 4% fulvic acid, a low-molecular-weight humic substance typically derived from oxidized humates such as leonardite. It functions as a natural chelator and nutrient carrier that enhances nutrient uptake and stress tolerance when applied to foliage or soil or tank-mixed with a fertility program. Supplied in 55-gallon drums, four per pallet.
Composition
| Component | Percentage |
|---|---|
| Fulvic acid (non-plant-food ingredient) | 4% |
What Fulvic Acid Is
Fulvic acid is the fraction of humic substances that remains soluble across the full pH range and carries a lower molecular weight than humic acid. That small size and solubility are what allow it to move freely into plant tissue and to remain stable in solution across a wide range of mixing conditions.
Functional Mechanism
Because fulvic acid molecules are small, they are readily absorbed through both leaf surfaces and roots. Fulvic acid chelates and mobilizes mineral cations, including micronutrients such as iron, zinc, and manganese, keeping them in available form and carrying them into the plant. It increases cell-membrane permeability to improve nutrient entry, stimulates root activity, buffers the nutrient solution, and supports tolerance to environmental stress. It also acts as a natural wetting agent that improves penetration of co-applied nutrients.
Application
Use as a foliar spray, as a soil or fertigation application, or as a tank-mix carrier with nutrient solutions to improve their uptake. Typical rates for this class of fulvic biostimulant are approximately 0.5 to 2 gallons per acre applied to foliage or soil, repeated 2 to 3 times per season, with low per-gallon rates used in hydroponic or fertigation systems.
Compatibility
Compatible with most nutrient programs and well suited as a chelating tank-mix partner. Perform a jar test before combining with other inputs, particularly concentrated fertilizers, to confirm solution stability.
Storage and Handling
Store in a cool location and keep from freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
