Details

Dosatron 3/4-inch System Kits are pre-assembled, ready-to-install solutions that pair essential plumbing components with a specific Dosatron injector or controller to create a functional, water-powered dosing station. Each kit is engineered for a distinct application, from basic plumbing to advanced, sensor-controlled injection for horticultural, agricultural, and industrial fluid management. The kits are defined by their specific, included components and intended use case.

Starter Hydroponic Plumbing Kit
The Starter Hydroponic Plumbing Kit provides the foundational inlet components for constructing a low-flow (14 GPM) nutrient delivery system. It is designed for systems with consistent inlet pressure or those utilizing a constant pressure pump or booster pump. The kit includes a union, check valve, elbows, nipples, tee, hose adapter, ball valves, coupler, filter, pressure gauge, and seal thread tape. It is intended to be combined with separate injectors, mixing chamber kits, and monitoring equipment to form a complete system.

Eco-Cart with D14MZ2 Injector
The Eco-Cart is a mobile, self-contained dosing station combining a wheeled cart frame with a mounted D14MZ2 injector and a concentrate tank. This fully plumbed system requires only connection to a water source, offering portability for spot treatments, greenhouse bench watering, or sanitizing operations where permanent installation is not practical.

Micro-Doser and Ultrasonic Control Kits
These kits integrate electronic control technology with water-powered injectors for programmable, precision dosing.

  • Lo-Flo Micro Doser Kit: Pairs a standard injector with an electronic control system to manage dosing based on time, water volume, or external sensor input, decoupling injection from instantaneous water flow.

  • Ultrasonic Micro-Doser Kits: These advanced kits, such as the Etatron eOne, transform a proportional injector into a closed-loop, injection-to-target system. An ultrasonic flow sensor measures actual water flow, and an electronic controller modulates a solenoid valve on the injector's suction line to achieve a precise target concentration (e.g., ppm), regardless of water pressure or flow variations. The Ultrasonic Retrofit Kit is designed specifically to upgrade an existing standard Dosatron injector to this advanced functionality.

Hobby Cultivator Dosing System
The Hobby Cultivator is a complete, multi-pump system engineered for personal and craft-scale growers, explicitly noted as not suitable for commercial cultivation. The standard system includes four water-powered dosing pumps and is designed for applications with an average of 4 to 24 lights, covering from a dozen to a few hundred plants. It operates at flow rates from 0.5 to 5 GPM and can be used for direct injection or to fill small batch tanks. The system is scalable, allowing for the addition of single dosers (up to 8 total) to accommodate multi-part nutrient recipes.

Installation and Integration Notes
Proper system function requires correct integration. The Starter Kit forms the system inlet, while kits like the Hobby Cultivator or Eco-Cart are complete, stand-alone units. For systems with inlet pressure exceeding 85 PSI, the installation of a pressure regulator is recommended. All systems utilizing aggressive chemicals require verification of chemical compatibility for wetted components prior to operation.
