Details

Bell Labs P.C.Q. PRO Diphacinone Rodenticide is a professional-grade, first-generation anticoagulant designed for burrow baiting and effective control of voles and other agricultural or structural rodents. The active ingredient, diphacinone, requires multiple feedings over several days to achieve mortality as it depletes vitamin K-dependent clotting factors in the target pest's blood, leading to fatal hemorrhage. To ensure success, the bait is manufactured with high-quality food-grade ingredients and taste enhancers to maximize palatability and encourage the necessary repeat consumption.

The highly durable pellet formulation is engineered specifically for challenging outdoor environments. Through Bell Labs' advanced manufacturing process, the bait is compressed into a fresh, robust pellet with superior weatherability, allowing it to remain effective and compete with natural food sources in the field. A key feature of P.C.Q. PRO is its broad application label, which provides pest management professionals with significant flexibility. The product is approved for burrow baiting against meadow and pine voles in areas like lawns and golf courses, for controlling California ground squirrels via bait stations or spot baiting, and for managing commensal rats and mice within 100 feet of structures or in burrows. This versatility makes it suitable for industrial, commercial, and residential accounts.

The product is offered in two economical, high-volume packaging formats to meet various program scales: a 12-pound resealable pail and a 50-pound bag. Applicators must note that this is a restricted-use pesticide (RUP) for certified applicators only. Critical state restrictions apply: the product is not for sale in California or Idaho for vole control, and it cannot be used against meadow and pine voles in California. Florida also restricts sale, though usage rules there may differ. As with all anticoagulants, the readily available antidote is Vitamin K1.
