Details

Amprobe Controlled Environment Monitoring Meters are a professional-grade suite of handheld instruments for assessing and optimizing critical parameters in greenhouses, growth chambers, and indoor production facilities. These meters enable growers and facility managers to measure carbon dioxide concentration, airflow velocity, and photosynthetic light intensity—three essential variables influencing plant health, worker safety, and operational efficiency in controlled environment agriculture. Each instrument is engineered for durability, accuracy, and ease of use in demanding commercial settings.

Amprobe CO2-100 Handheld Carbon Dioxide Meter
The Amprobe CO2-100 is a portable, triple-display instrument designed for monitoring indoor air quality in greenhouses, offices, production floors, and food storage areas. It provides simultaneous measurement of carbon dioxide concentration, temperature, and relative humidity, with additional calculated values for dew point and wet bulb temperature. The meter is engineered for applications requiring compliance with air quality standards and worker safety guidelines.

The CO2-100 utilizes a low-drift non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor with waveguide technology for accurate carbon dioxide measurement. This sensor is engineered for long-term stability and includes automatic drift compensation. Carbon dioxide measurement range is 0 to 9,999 ppm, with specified accuracy of ±30 ppm ±5% of reading in the 0 to 5,000 ppm range. Temperature measurement range is -10°C to 60°C (14°F to 140°F) with accuracy of ±0.6°C. Relative humidity range is 0% to 95% with accuracy of ±3% RH between 10% and 90% RH at 25°C.

A large backlit LCD screen displays all three primary readings simultaneously. Key analysis functions include 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) calculation, 15-minute short-term exposure limit (STEL) monitoring, data hold, min/max/average recording, and an adjustable audible alarm for exceeding user-set CO2 thresholds. Manual calibration is possible. The meter is powered by four AA batteries and ships with batteries and a padded carrying case.

Amprobe TMA-21HW Hotwire Anemometer with Temperature
The Amprobe TMA-21HW is a hotwire anemometer engineered for measuring air flow velocity, volume, temperature, and relative humidity in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Its hotwire sensor technology eliminates moving parts and bearings, resulting in a durable instrument with stable measurement accuracy.

The instrument measures air velocity from 0.10 to 30.00 meters per second (10 to 6,000 feet per minute) with accuracy of ±3% of reading ±1% full scale. Air flow volume is calculated in cubic feet per minute (CFM) and cubic meters per minute (CMM) with ±3% accuracy. Temperature measurement range is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) with accuracy of ±0.5°C. Relative humidity range is 0% to 100% with accuracy of ±3%. Calculated values include dew point and wet bulb temperature.

The meter features a fast-response telescopic probe extending to 1.2 meters (3.9 feet) for accessing hard-to-reach locations. A large backlit LCD displays up to five parameters simultaneously. Data functions include data hold, minimum/maximum with time stamp, manual memory for 99 sets, and 512KB auto data-logging capacity. A USB interface with included software enables data transfer to a PC. The unit is powered by six AAA batteries and ships with batteries, a hard carrying case, USB cable, and software CD.

Amprobe LM-200 LED Light Meter
The Amprobe LM-200 LED is a professional light meter specifically designed to accurately measure light output from LED sources across all visible wavelengths. It is suitable for verifying photosynthetic light levels in controlled environment agriculture, conducting photometric tests, and optimizing lighting system efficiency.

The meter uses a silicon photodiode sensor with spectral response calibrated to CIE luminous spectral efficiency standards. Measurement units are user-selectable between lux and foot-candles. Lux measurement range spans 200 to 200,000 lux; foot-candle range spans 20 to 20,000 foot-candles. Accuracy is ±3% when calibrated to a standard incandescent lamp at 2856°K, with correction for LED daylight spectrum. An angled sensor head with cosine correction ensures accurate light incidence measurement. The remote sensor connects via an approximately 5-foot (1.5-meter) cable.

A large 3½-digit LCD displays measurements clearly. Data functions include data hold to freeze readings and MAX hold to capture highest measurements. The meter meets JISC1609:1993 standards.
