Details
STIK-KOTE is a spray adjuvant formulated with Advanced 3D-IPNS Application Technology designed to modify the exposure profile of insects, enhancing the bioavailability of insecticide active ingredients. It disperses spray droplets for more even coverage of insects and surfaces and provides even deposition of pesticide active ingredients on treated surfaces. The product leaves no residual film. It is labeled for indoor and outdoor use on agricultural crops, ornamental plants, turf, and non-cropland sites. Do not use in aquatic applications.
Functional Mechanism
STIK-KOTE modifies the exposure profile of target insects to enhance the bioavailability of insecticide active ingredients in tank mixtures. It acts to improve spray coverage, disperse spray droplets, and provide even deposition of pesticide active ingredients on treated insects and surfaces. The result is increased effectiveness of insecticide sprays.
Application Specifications and Protocol
Water pH Requirement: For best results, buffer spray water to a pH range of 5.0 to 7.5.
Mixing Procedure: Add STIK-KOTE after the insecticide(s) has been mixed with water, according to the pesticide product label. Mix well before spraying.
Application Technique: Apply formulation topically only using a fine mister (low volume). Recommended droplet size is 80 to 100 microns. Follow the insecticide label directions for use and reapplication interval.
Use Rates by Site
Indoor & Outdoor Treatment of Non-Cropland Sites

Phytotoxicity Warnings and Restrictions
Never exceed label rates due to phytotoxicity risk. Phytotoxic risk may increase when applied to:
-
Plants with juvenile or sensitive foliage (e.g., tomatoes, peppers, herbs)
-
Young plants (e.g., seedlings)
-
Plants in bloom
To reduce phytotoxicity risk, apply when conditions allow easy and fast drying of the spray dilution on plants (dry and sunny weather). Morning applications are preferable.
It is not possible to evaluate the phytotoxicity of STIK-KOTE towards all plant varieties that may react differently under varying conditions. Before making widespread applications, the user or applicator advisor must have experience with the tank mix or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial by treating a limited number of plants and observing for phytotoxicity over a 5-day period. If in doubt, perform a preliminary test on a few plants to ensure a lack of phytotoxicity.
Compatibility
STIK-KOTE is believed to be compatible with most pesticides that are not highly alkaline. If separation of the spray mixture occurs, do not use.
Surface Precautions
Care should be taken when using STIK-KOTE mixture on surfaces susceptible to damage or stains (e.g., mattresses, carpet, furniture). Treat a small area to ensure damage or staining does not occur before full application.
Use Restrictions
Not for aquatic use. Read the entire label prior to use.
